Thought for the Week
The old and honourable idea of ‘vocation’ is simply that we each are called, by God, or by our gifts, or by our preference, to a kind of good work for which we are particularly fitted” – Wendell Berry
Covid—19
In our churches, parish teams and hundreds of volunteers work hard to ensure your safety and we thank them most sincerely for that. Because of their commitment and hard work, we are able to continue our liturgies safely – weekday and Sunday Masses, Baptisms, Weddings, Confirmations and Funerals. However, each one of us must continue to play our own part and take personal responsibility. We must continue practising good hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette and physical distancing, We encourage you to wear a face covering and keep 2 metres apart from anyone who is not from your household. If you have any symptoms of Covid-19, please stay at home and follow Mass online. It is now part of our daily lives and will remain so for the foreseeable future. . Stay safe and keep each other safe.

Thought for the Week
“The two ideas, justice and vocation, are inseparable…. It is by way of the principle and practice of vocation that sanctity and reverence enter into the human economy. It was thus possible for traditional cultures to conceive that “to work is to pray.”― Wendell Berry
Thought for the Week
“Each of you has a personal vocation which He has given you for your own joy and sanctity. When a person is conquered by the fire of His gaze, no sacrifice seems too great to follow Him and give Him the best of ourselves. This is what the saints have always done, spreading the light of the Lord … and transforming the world into a welcoming home for everyone.” ― Pope Benedict XVI
